Our fleet features the Princecraft Vectra pontoon boats, which comfortably accommodate up to 10 passengers, perfect for both daily and multi-day outings. Designed with tri-toons and lifting strakes, they offer superior performance and stability on the water. Enjoy the cool shade under a spacious 9' Bimini top while a Bluetooth-compatible stereo system ensures your favorite tunes accompany the journey. What do I need to know before I rent a pontoon boat?
The Fine Print:
- All renters / operators must be at least 26 years old and have a valid drivers license.
- All renters / operators must be present at our rental docks located at The Lake Norman Landing, 4491 Slanting Bridge rd. Sherrills Ford, NC 28673 to pick up their boat.
- All renters / operators must watch our boat safety training video which can be found HERE before renting a boat with Island Vibes.
- All renters / operators must sign a liability waiver and rental agreement before taking possession of the boat. You are responsible for your own safety, the safety of your passengers, and the condition of your rented boat upon return. Any and all damages will be the sole responsibility of the renter. All rentals are secured with a $750 CASH deposit. (ATM located on site)
- It is a violation of NC state and local law to carry liquor onboard any open vessel on an inland waterway. Beer, wine and champagne are permitted in reasonable quantities but absolutely no liquor is permitted onboard. Coolers are subject to inspection.
- All rental rates are "dry" rates which simply means that you are responsible for repaying for any fuel that you use, just like a rental car.
- Cancellations- Any boat rental cancelled 3 full days (72 hours) prior to the scheduled rental time will receive a full refund. Any boat rental cancelled between 24 - 72 hours will receive a 50% refund. Any no show or cancellation without at least 24 hours notice will be charged the full rental amount.
- Hazardous Weather Conditions- If actual (not forecast) hazardous weather conditions (strong winds, thunderstorms etc.) are present at the time of your rental, renter will be allowed to reschedule for any date within the following 12 months. Refunds are not given for hazardous weather conditions, only a reschedule.
- PFD's are provided and encouraged to be worn. All children under the age of 13 must wear a properly fitting PFD for the entire rental.
Be sure to bring: sunscreen, towels, waters, snacks, hats, sunglasses, camera / phone.
Be sure to leave: grills, cigarettes, drugs, liquor, pets.
