When it comes to renting a pontoon boat on Lake Norman for your big day, make sure you get the best! Island Vibes pontoon rentals feature brand-new Sweetwater Tri-toons with 150 HP fuel-injected engines for smooth power. Our boats seat up to 10 passengers - whether adults or children - and every rental includes a free two-person tube, all safety equipment, ski vests, a Bluetooth sound system, a large Bimini top for staying cool, and exceptional customer service.
We are conveniently located at the Lake Norman Landing Hotel and Marina. With its on site restaurant, ice cream shack, tiki bar and even waterfront hotel, this is the perfect spot to start your lake day adventure. What do I need to know before I rent a pontoon boat?
The Fine Print:
- All renters/operators must be at least 26 years old and have a valid driver's license.
- All renters/operators must be present at our rental docks located at The Lake Norman Landing, 4491 Slanting Bridge Rd. Sherrills Ford, NC 28673 to pick up their boat.
- All renters/operators must watch our boat safety training video which can be found here before renting a boat with Island Vibes.
- All renters/operators must sign a liability waiver and rental agreement before taking possession of the boat. You are responsible for your own safety, the safety of your passengers, and the condition of your rented boat upon return. Any and all damages will be the sole responsibility of the renter. All rentals require a $750 cash deposit. (An ATM is located on-site.)
- It is a violation of NC state and local law to carry liquor on board any open vessel on an inland waterway. Beer, wine and champagne are permitted in reasonable quantities but absolutely no liquor is permitted on board. Coolers are subject to inspection.
- All rental rates are "dry" rates which simply means that you are responsible for repaying for any fuel that you use, just like a rental car.
- Cancellations- Any boat rental canceled 3 full days (72 hours) prior to the scheduled rental time will receive a full refund. Any boat rental cancelled between 24 - 72 hours will receive a 50% refund. Any no-show or cancellation without at least 24 hours notice will be charged the full rental amount.
- Hazardous Weather Conditions- If actual (not forecast) hazardous weather conditions (strong winds, thunderstorms etc.) are present at the time of your rental, renter will be allowed to reschedule for any date within the following 12 months. Refunds are not given for hazardous weather conditions, only a reschedule.
- PFDs (personal flotation devices) are provided and encouraged for all renters. All children under the age of 13 must wear a properly fitting PFD for the entire rental.
Bring: sunscreen, towels, bottled water, snacks, hats, sunglasses, and a camera/phone.
Leave at home: grills, cigarettes, drugs, liquor, and pets.
