In the 17 years that we have been renting boats on Lake Norman, we have learned the importance of making sure that we provide new, well-maintained, and adequately equipped boats.

There have been so many instances where families call us to pour out their heart about a big day on the lake or family vacation that was ruined because the rental company — or person they thought was a rental company — either gave them an old, broken-down boat, or called them the day before their rental to let them know that the boat was not going to be available.

In fact, this has actually become more and more prevalent as the years have gone on. While this is probably a cool application in some instances, we hear far too many horror stories from families where it never works out.

Our pontoon rentals are brand-new boats with 150 HP fuel-injected Suzuki engines, tow bars, large Bimini tops to provide shade for everyone on board, Bluetooth sound systems, and depth finders.

We also configure all of our boats with a third pontoon, turning it into what’s known in the industry as a tri-toon. Adding this center pontoon not only increases stability and speed but also capacity. Essentially, we’re adding 50% more flotation - and that’s always a good thing!

🌊 What Do People Do When They Rent a Boat on Lake Norman?

Our pontoon rentals are capable of comfortably carrying 10 adults. They’re fuel-efficient and always kept in great shape.

Sometimes people have a larger crowd, or they don’t feel comfortable driving the boat themselves. For those times, we also have three charter boats available. They range in capacity from our 12-passenger 41-foot Azimut Italian yacht, to our 22-passenger Premier Escalante ultra-luxury boat, and finally our massive 30-passenger Island Castaway commercial tiki boat.

With these boats in the fleet, there aren’t many group sizes we can’t accommodate. Another great advantage to chartering - in addition to having a U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captain - is the added space of these larger boats, plus the fact that they all feature full bathrooms on board.

These boats definitely allow you to take your day on the lake to the ultimate level.

Another great feature to look for when booking a boat is location. That can make just as big an impact on your day as the boat itself.
